About the Artist

Lucille Bradburn is a longtime resident of New Mexico. She was born and raised in Grand Junction, Colorado and moved to Clovis, New Mexico in 1948. Lucille has been active in the State of New Mexico Arts for over 50 years. She has served as President of Pintores Art League, Clovis and Portales Art Council, and ENMU Council's International Art Show. She has studied under Dr. Dean Merritt, Jon Birdsong, Leona Head, Jan Lloyd, Bruce Defoor, Carolyn Lindsey, Bobby Weid, Mike Mayhon, Ridgley Whiteman and Shirley DeMaio. One of her paintings is in the New Mexico Museum of Fine Arts. She has been profiled in Strathmore's Who's Who Worldwide 2008 Edition. In 2009 she was asked to exhibit her church paintings at the Clovis Community College. Her blue ribbon "Indian Pottery" watercolor was published in the Curry County Heritage Bicentennial Book of 1975. Lucille lives in Clovis, New Mexico.
