Patagonia

A photographic record of a 3,000 kilometer journey through Patagonia, from Buenos Aires to Tierra del Fuego and Ushuaia - the southernmost city in the world - "el fin del mundo" - and gateway to Antarctica. The journey proceeded ever southward, alongside the snowcapped Andes. The weather alternated between freezing rain and warm sunny days. Large tracts of land are demarcated by fences of the vast estancias, or ranches. An occasional gaucho rides by on his horse; condors soar overhead.
