Exotic Places: The Serial Monoprints of Pat Cresson

This book is one in a series of books that represent my work. Pictured are twenty serial oil monoprints of exotic places. They were completed in 2009 and measure 16” x 20”. A monoprint is a print in which the artist chooses to pull only one print rather than multiple prints or an edition. This technique may incorporate painterly effects and drawing in addition to more traditional techniques of stencil, etching and intaglio.
