Jennifer,

greetings from PrestoPhoto and thank you for your interest.

Here is a page that may help http://www.prestophoto.com/wiki/index.php?structure_id=448

Also, for all our trim sizes we recommend you make the cover images as well as the interior page images 1/2" larger than your book size. For 8.5x11 the cover image would be 8.75x11.25. Keep all important items (people, heads, text) away from the outer 1/2" on all sides.

If you want to create a full wrap cover — the best thing to do is upload the interior file, and move forward in the book creation process until you get to the cover creation stage of the game. On that page to the left of the screen under Cover Dimensions: we give you the exact dimensions for your full wrap cover based on the page count for your specific book.

You can then create the cover file and upload.

If you have other questions or if I missed something let me know and I'll do my best to help.

Imagewrap cover specifications

Posted:09 Feb 2010 (03:56 UTC)
Hello,

I would like some clarification on imagewrap cover specifications for my PDF photobook. The cover templates (there isn't one for 9x7) show a 1" safety (thin yellow line) and a dark yellow .75" fold line. I'm assuming this means 1" bleed total is required all around, however when I try to upload my JPEG cover file, the image is being stretched horizontally. I'm creating a 9x7 photobook and here are the dimensions I am using, which contradicts the cover dimensions your product builder is telling me to use once I upload my cover image.

Cover Imagewrap (for 9x7 book, 68 pages):

9 x 20.22 (.22 for spine)

Please confirm if I am using the correct dimensions.

Thank-you!

Jenn
