Missing Images in High-Res PDF from Book Machine

I was wondering if the upgrade for flickr has been completed and the APR issues resolved. I haven't finished my books and would like to.

We are working on getting the titles into the Book Designer. That is definitely on the list.

Hopefully we'll have another update in a few days.

Thanks for your response! I appreciate it.

(1) current missing photo problem:
My photos are all public. I changed the name of the set on PrestoPhoto after I made changes (re-ordered and deleted photos) because I did not want the changes to be reflected on Flickr. The problem of the missing photos existed before I did that. What do you suggest at this point? (see point 2)

(2) Flickr integration upgrade
The changes that you are looking to make at the end of the month, can you tell me about them? Would it be worth me waiting to produce my books? I have 2000+ photos that I want to bring in from Flickr along with the titles. So this is the first book of several big ones.

(3) Book Designer
The main thing I'm wondering with book designer, is if I can bring in the titles from Flickr too. I know I can on book machine and haven't figured out how on book designer. I want to print images and titles from Flickr. The titles are just as important. What do you suggest?

Hi Christina,

We've looked at this and it seems there is either a privacy issue or your galleries do not exist on Flickr that you synchronized to PrestoPhoto. Do the galleries still exist on Flickr? If so, make sure they are temporarily non-private, and try to sync.

Yes, you should be able to use Flickr images in the Book Designer. However, the problem above is preventing us from getting ahold of the original gallery and images.

We are going to be looking into an upgrade of our Flickr integration at the end of this month.

Hello, I'm hoping you can help me because I emailed this problem/question 6 days ago, and have not received a response. I'm hoping I'll have better luck through the message board:

- I've sync'd images for my photo book, created with Book Machine, with Flickr. All of the images are in a gallery titled "Year: One." And are visible. When I create a photobook using book machine, some of the images are not showing up in the preview and high-res pdf preview. It shows the title of the image however it is blank above it. I tried creating another photo book and I'm having the same problem with a different Flickr set. Please let me know how to resolve this problem.

- Can I pull in the titles from Flickr if I use Book Designer?
