Recommended PDF settings from Pages '09

I'm using Apple Pages '09 on Mac OS X 10.6.5. Do you have recommendations for PDF export settings? I see from discussions on various forums that Save as PDF-X might be the best (or only) way to ensure fonts are completely embedded. Pages offers both an Export option (with PDF output) as well as File | Print | PDF | Save as PDF..., so I'm not sure what is the best if I'm uploading my own PDF.
