Re: 2 page spreads
Posted:28 Sep 2011 (02:36 UTC)the spread you show in YouTube don't match up. If I'm creating my pages in Photoshop and do a layout for a 17.5" width book and 11.25" high to account for 1/4" trim and slice it down the middle - I don't get the overlap for the gutter. Any suggestions? Perhaps if I sleep on it, I'll come up with a better way!

Posted:02 May 2011 (10:57 UTC)You will want to trim the page so that each side of the page is 1/2 the size of the original. One will go on the left and one will go on the right
As a note, for all of our books the first interior page prints on the right, regardless of whether or not it displays on the right or left in the preview. The first interior page will always print on the right.

2 page spreads
Posted:01 May 2011 (03:26 UTC)Hi,
This is the first time that I am creating a photo book and I would really like to have several landscape pictures across a 2 page spread. I have researched how to do this on PrestoPhoto, so I know that I must place the same picture on 2 pages and crop the pictures. I have checked out the 2 page spread gallery (http://www.prestophoto.com/photos/gallery/11323), however I'm still not sure how to do this. Can I split the picture through the Book Designer program, or is this something that must be done before the picture is uploaded onto PrestoPhoto?
Also the 2 page spread gallery recommends leaving a 1/4" overlap in the gutter, how do I do that?
Basically I am looking for a step-by-step on how to do a 2 page spread.
Thanks,
N
