Posted:09 Aug 2011 (16:00 UTC)Greetings from PrestoPhoto,
We cannot guarantee accurate results when trying to calculate a spine for IPhoto given the changes of the width of the paper. Therefore, In these cases we suggest saving your file in IPhoto without any spine text. Then in the Design Cover step of the design process you can apply your text using our Spine Text Tool.
Please let us know if you have any further questions,

Spine calculation related to Express vs. Premium Paper
Posted:08 Aug 2011 (13:56 UTC)I'm uploading a pdf from iPhoto for a hard cover image wrap(8.5x11). How is my book affected by my decision to use Express paper vs premium. Since the latter produces a thicker book, I image this would adjust the printing on the spine and it would be off center. Please advise. Also, which printing method is closest to the Apple hard cover book produced by iPhoto. Thanks!
