Support--you never confirmed or denied the part about the "sewing" of the pages before gluing. The reply I received linked me to this paragraph and no where does it indicate the pages are sewn first. It would have been nice to have someone actually reply to the question, not just give a link and stock answer. Connie--do you work for PrestoPhoto ?

Case binding (Hardcover)
Our imagewrap photo books are constructed using the highest quality pre-cut imagewrap boards and also are bound on a computer-controlled adhesive binding machine. The casebound binding service offers a spine lining sheet which is applied inside the front and back cover and secures the fold over of the cover sheet. Covers are laminated and ()pages are hot-glued to the cover, which again is ideal for all of our on-demand products. Production time is 10 business days.

Express binding PrestoPhoto's express binding service is available for hardcover books. This service offers creators a reasonably priced, durable and attractive binding option that is easy and fast. Covers are laminated and ()pages are hot-glued to the cover for a durable spine. End leafs are black. The case wrap cover is designed to hold between 20 and 126 pages. Production time is 7 business days . Here is a picture of quick binding.
Premium binding. PrestoPhoto's Premium binding service is also available for hardcover books. This service takes the express binding service to the next level. The end leafs are black. The case wrap cover offers a variable spine width so your page count will determine the size case wrap used to bind your book. This results in a more professional look to your books, and an upper page count of 160 pages. Production time is 7 business days . Here is a picture of premium binding.

The Express Bound hardcover is professional and similar to Premium binding with two differences - the binding on Premium has a slightly tighter spine, but the main difference is the print quality which is the difference between a Xerox (toner based) and Indigo (ink based) print process.

If the whole block of pages is sewn first, then glued into the binding, how are pages falling out on people? If they are just glued, I'd understand. Are you sure about the sewing part?

The interior pages of our 8.5x11 and 8.5x8.5 case wrap hard cover books are stitched together and then the interior book block is glued to the hardcover.
