Posted:24 Nov 2007 (15:30 UTC)From previous message board posts about book results, and how they atched the preview, and the disclaimer "pages will print exactly as in preview only sharper", I was expecting that the crop area would be cut out of the full bleed pages in my pdf preview. However, i left the crop guidelines on my images to see how much would be taken off, and the full 1/4" crop margin is still displayed in the pdf.
So I guess I have a few questions. Assuming that the 1/4" margin will be cropped off the preview page: is it always 1/4"? I know sometimes it may be more (up to 1/2"), but is it ever less than 1/4"? Are all pages cropped the same amount? e.g. if 0.27" is cut off the bottom of page 1, will 0.27" be cut off the bottom of page 3? If I have a line running across a two page spread, could uneven cropping from one page to the next throw it out of alignment?
