Replacing iphoto.

Like many, I was caught by Apple ceasing the printing of albums. Every year I produced an album for the grandchildren's birthday and was concerned as every company I looked into did not measure up in terms of quality. I am impressed with the quality and time frame for production and delivery to Australia. Great work and thank you; please do not stop producing the quality work.

Dear Mr Presto,

I have just received my first Presto photo book. The quality is simply outstanding. I have been mourning the loss of Apple Books since their demise. I checked out the rest and recently discovered Presto offering my favourite Apple iPhoto formats. I am usually restrained in product endorsements, but the book is of much higher quality than any books in my extensive collection of Apple products, mainly printed in Japan or SINGAPORE. I have now set up a dedicated hard disk with iPhoto to avoid current OS issues, so I can go back to the past and reproduce great quality books with ease. So Mr or Mrs Presto, please take a bow and please keep the service going. My only negative is your expensive freight rates to Australia. I can get my books via my US consolidator, but then I have to wait!

I am very disappointed with my order. The print quality is terrible. Color is totally muddy .
I spent days and days , working on this book , processing each image and placing each photo where it should be. I ordered just one copy to see how it would come out before i ordered more . I have done this for years with Apple creating all my travel books which i have not only printed for myself but also to give as gifts for my family members who come on the trips with me.
I am aware that print is not as good as what you see on the computer screen, but this presto photo book is way off. If you don’t think you can do a better job i would like to return the book and get my money back.

Great Quality - Presto Photo is my all time favorite!!

My lifelong friend was in the hospital dying of cancer. I hurried and put a photo book together of our life long and very dear friendship. We were friends in kindergarten and are now 68! The quality was absolutely beautiful and the book came within 8 days of my order. Wow! I am so impressed! The book was at her celebration of life and I was very proud to display it. Thank you Presto Photo for your good work and for making me look so "first class!"

I understood that by placing my order for two photo books on December 15, I would not receive them by Christmas. Well, you all are just fantastic and surprised my family when they arrived on Christmas Eve! We so very much appreciate the quality and speediness with which you make these products. Many thanks!

Calendar created in iphoto

Hi I wasn't aware until I spend 4 hours creating a calendar in iphoto as I had in previous years that apple had discontinued. I have a pdf of the calendar I created. however, it is putting a border around the calendar and saying any graphics in that border will be cut off. I read though that although the calendar is smaller than apple's 10X13 size that the adjustment could be made without any issues. Can you this border something I need to worry about?

Hi Peter,

The "border" you see are our crop guides. For calendars, we typically crop around 1/2 way through the red guide. This is very similar to the amount of cropping that Apple did on their calendars. All products, regardless of size, have a level of trim required to ensure the final product has that "finished" look everyone is accustomed to with printed products (:

Recent order

I am really disappointed with my order - received 2 albums that I had previously printed through Apple (before that service was discontinued) and the difference between quality is astounding. The PrestoPhoto albums are terrible quality even though photos were taken by a professional photographer. It has poor resolution - so much so that people's teeth appear black out because the photos are so fuzzy. Ordered albums to give as a gift to parents/parents-in-law but cannot gift them because they look so cheap (even though I spent a lot of money on them). Paid $100 to get it shipped before Christmas - now I can't gift them anyway so that was a waste of money. No response to complaint email and request for refund.
